Marcia Alden has been named as a Polaris product analyst. In this role, Marcia is responsible for the Polaris ILS Cataloging Subsystem and complementary products, such as the Polaris Inventory Manager. Marcia has over 20 years of library and library-related experience, including positions at DRA and OCLC, Pasco County Library System and University of Florida. Marcia holds an MSLIS degree from Syracuse University. Heather Davidson has been appointed as a Polaris site manager. In this role, Heather serves as a primary contact for Polaris customers and is the liaison between technical support and customer sites. Prior to joining Polaris, Heather held positions as both a practicing librarian and as a customer support technician, including premier support engineer for Microsoft. Heather holds an MSLIS degree from Syracuse University. Catherine Elmore has been named migration automation specialist. In this role, Catherine is in charge of designing and
developing automation solutions to enhance the company’s implementation bandwidth and quality control processes. A veteran of Polaris, Catherine had been the
lead software engineer for the Polaris ILS Acquisitions and Serials subsystem. She returns to Polaris after working in several software development roles,
including systems that utilize Dublin Core and MARC format for serials data. Catherine holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Syracuse University.
Kathryn Wickham has been appointed as a Polaris site manager. In this role, Kathy serves as a primary contact for Polaris
customers and is the liaison between technical support and customer sites. Kathy most recently served as children services librarian for Onondaga County Public
Libraries. Her past experience also includes roles in cataloging , acquisitions and adult reference . Kathy holds an MSLIS degree from Syracuse University.
