Course Reserves

An easier way to manage your reserve collections.

Polaris Course Reserves is a robust component of Polaris ILS that allows libraries to manage reserve collections for multiple courses in one location. Patrons can search the collections by course name, instructor name or course number. They can also search reserves separately from the regular collection, saving time and frustration. In addition, this powerful software allows staff to quickly and efficiently manage the reserve collection by batch processing quantities of materials - activate and deactivate books, add multiple titles from a record set, reserve personal copies and more. For public libraries, the Course Reserves module can be used to manage collections for book clubs and summer reading programs, or to maintain reserve collections in support of local school or community college curricula.
