Children's Edition:
An engaging electronic interface for your youngest patrons.
The Polaris ILS PowerPACTM, Children's Edition, makes it easy for young patrons to find library resources. With a colorful icon-based interface, children can electronically browse your catalog by subjects, such as "Animals," "Places," "Sports," "Machines," "People," etc., as well as by author and title. Customizable "dashboards" allow staff to create booklists of special interest to children and promote upcoming events and programs. An easy-to-use Help function will walk young library users through each step of the search process.

Expand service to the segments of your community whose primary language is not English by providing the Polaris© PowerPACTM in their native language. Simply select the languages you need from the 115 different languages we offer and we'll deliver your PowerPACTM in the languages you've chosen. With just a click of the mouse, patrons or staff can change the display of the PowerPACTM to their language of choice. The easy-to-understand interface allows patrons to view a fully translated version in the language with which they are most comfortable. All screens are translated into the chosen language, including menus, buttons, tool tips, title bars and the messages that are defined in System Administration.
